LNG PRODUCTION UNDER WAY AT PURE LNG’S COLÁN PLANT

Small-scale LNG production returns to Tablazo Colán, the site of Peru’s first
small-scale LNG plant.

TABLAZO COLÁN, Peru — Pure LNG S.A.C., the Peruvian operating company of the
Okra Energy group, has moved its small-scale liquefaction plant at Tablazo
Colán, in the Piura region, from commissioning into production.

The plant has a nameplate capacity of 30,000 gallons of LNG per day across two
liquefaction trains. It is designed to the NFPA 59A standard and runs on
pipeline-quality natural gas supplied under a 10-year agreement, with a 3.2 MW
on-site genset and a grid connection for power.

LNG from Colán travels by truck in cryogenic ISO containers, a virtual
pipeline, to industrial customers beyond the reach of the gas network, most of
them in Ecuador, where it replaces diesel as a cleaner, lower-cost fuel.

“Colán proves the model: we liquefy gas where it is available and deliver it
where pipelines don’t go,” said Louis Ravenet, Chief Executive Officer of Pure
LNG. “Our next step is to fill both trains with long-term customers in
Ecuador, our main market, and across the region.”
